The photography studio has received a new coat of paint! I loved this part of the studio renovation. Seeing my progress and vision coming to life is so therapeutic.
If you have ever painted something, you know there are several shades of one color. Choosing white was no different. All these samples in the picture are white. With the help of my photography studio renovation group and taping multiple white samples on the wall, I finally chose pure white.
It was Spring break this past week and I had a very eager helper in the studio as I was painting. She did a pretty good job, I think I’d hire her back!
When I moved into the space in Harbourtown, the walls were painted a tan color. As I started to take a few things off the wall to prepare to paint, I found out that the space was once painted a baby blue color. Upon this discovery, I found myself wondering about the history this space. What business could have had a baby blue interior….maybe a daycare or music classes? When things settle down, I will look into the history of this space and share it with you all.
After two coats of paint, I was finally done painting. I stood back to look at the fresh look of the space and couldn’t help but smile….one step closer to opening! Before and after picture to show the difference a little paint can do. Up next, the floor!
