I got to snuggle with baby Oliver when he came into the Pic a Posie Photography studio for his newborn session! He had the most beautiful dark hair. I was so excited to capture this special milestone for this new family of three!
Meghan and Lyle had been searching for the right photographer to capture this important milestone of their family’s journey. When they asked their friends who they recommended, Pic a Posie Photography was the one to check out! They looked through my recent work and loved what they saw. Meghan contacted me and we began to plan a customized session around both their visions.
When I asked her if there were any particular colors she wanted to incorporate into the session, she mentioned mustard. Hearing that, made me smile ear to ear. I had the perfect splash of mustard to compliment the neutral brown and cream colors for this early Fall session. Using my mustard flokati rug from my favorite vendor Luneberry, along with a little sleeper outfit, made for the perfect combination!
After we planned all the session details, little Oliver finally arrived and it was time for his newborn session. Mom and Dad receive my prep guide a few days prior, so they knew exactly how to prepare Oliver for his newborn session. In the beginning of the session, Oliver wasn’t too happy that I was moving him around into each pose. He did not like poses that involved putting him on his stomach. I was able to capture a few images, but he was much happier on his back or swaddled up nice and snug. He even gave me a couple smiles and a smirk when swaddled!
