Milestone sessions are quickly becoming a favorite of mine. This little gal was just the sweetest and smiliest baby I have ever seen in the studio. She looked adorable in all the outfits put on her, like they were made just for her!
Mom and Dad were visiting family here in Florida when they came in to document their daughters milestone. It was a gift from Adea’s Grandpa and Grandma. From the time they arrived at the studio, to the time they left, they were the perfect clients. Sweet, easy going, helpful, and they put up with my silly voices!
We started her session out with a little tummy time. Some babies hate tummy time and others babies love it. I have to be quick with my camera because I might only have one shot before baby is over it. Can you guess which one little miss Adea was?
When we placed her on her back, she once again gave big smiles, but it also brought out some of her personality faces! I just love how these turned out and I can see them framed as a collage in the nursery.
Just like my newborn sessions, I strive to capture those little details of the rolls, toes, and of course that gorgeous eye contact! Eye contact is so powerful at this age. Sometimes you can get eye contact during a newborn session, but the magic really happens at their milestone session.
One of my favorite setups of this session was when she wore one of my one of a kind pink outfit. The lace, pearls and pink tones were just her style. She was adorable and I think she knew it! Dad was over my shoulder giving goofy faces to help get those beautiful smiles.
I always encourage my clients to capture family images at their session. It is such a special time to help capture and tell your family’s story. Little Miss Adea will look back at these images when she is older and will cherish seeing her parents holding and loving on her.
By the end of Adea’s session, she was tired out. She fell asleep during the last part of the session. However, with how well she did during her session, she deserved a nap! It was a pleasure photographing her and meeting this sweet family!
