Look at those adorable baby rolls! I secretly jump for joy when I get to photograph a newborn baby that has baby rolls on their arms, legs and tummy. They always look so squishy and cuddly!
I am so honored to have photographed this sweet family’s newborn session. While walking past my studio in Harbourtown in Gulf Breeze, they noticed my artwork displayed in my windows. They fell in love with my work and reached out to me.
Once we began the session, I found out that this was a special session for the parents. Their first little girl was born at the beginning of Covid when everything shut down. Unfortunately, they were unable to capture newborn images of their daughter. Right then, I made it my mission to deliver the most beautiful gallery for them.
Mom was a bit nervous for how her older daughter would behave at the session. I assured her that I do have some tricks up my sleeve to help younger siblings warm up to me, my studio and my camera. When they arrived for their family images, I had Disney music playing, we danced and I got down to her level to talk with her. She started to become comfortable and her trust in me started to grow. Her little personality started to shine!
