There is nothing I love more than to capture that beautiful eye contact during baby milestone sessions! Little Charlie showed me all the eye contact and his beautiful baby blue eyes during his 4 month milestone session.

When Charlie and his Mom arrived at the studio, I took a few moments to let Charlie get familiar with his new surrounding and myself. While Mom held him, I played peek-a-boo and showed him my camera and lights. Once he gave me a few smiles and felt a little bit more relaxed, we started the session.

Charlie gave me so many different faces during his session. I had to turn a few of them into black and whites to showcase his personality.

One of my favorite images of the session was towards the end when Mom jumped in on a few of them. I always encourage parents to get a few images of themselves with their little one. Charlie was starting to get tired from all the excitement, and wanted to hang onto Mom. Look at him loving on his Mama!

Although we had captured so many cute images, it is normal for your little one to become a little hesitant during the milestone session. I work at their pace and comfort level. So when they need a break to reset, we take it. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve to try to keep their attention, and forget the camera.

I recommend holding your 3 month milestone session when they are 4 months. That extra month gives them time to become a little more stable in tummy time and they show off their personalities a bit more.
